WHO BENEFITS Vision therapy may be used to treat eye conditions such as crossed-eyes or lazy eye or, in select cases, reduce the need for glasses. More often, however, vision therapy is designed for those who already have perfect eyes or new glasses. Just as perfect hands do not guarantee that you have the hand coordination, strength, and speed to play piano, perfect eyes do not guarantee that you have the eye coordination, strength and speed to read Harry Potter. Driving at night, catching a ball, succeeding at school, working on a computer without headaches and exhaustion all depend on how we use our eyes. Vision therapy improves how we use our eyes.
